The Siren Song
A glimpse into my Senior thesis collection inspired by the lore of sirens. My main focus was to create movement and organic shapes through abstract draping and patterning techniques.
A double breasted leather jacket patterned to include a braided element and double welt pockets.
A leather jacket with outer darts and a portrait collar designed through draping.
After manipulating a bodice and skirt block, I patterned this shirt dress, creating a button extension, mandarin collar, and elongated sleeves.
Three different knits: mesh, jersey, and lace knit were used to create this body conscious dress.
A two piece set that functions as an evening look or as separates for amore casual outfit.
After creating a bustier foundation, I draped a gown and hood, hand sewing to attach and secure.
Inspired by couture techniques, this bustier uses steel boning and hand beading. I also manipulated the fabric to create this scrunching effect, taking 50 hours total to achieve this finished look.
